ok i do not get why they made rats hostile mobs because with rats and spiders now, its basically impossible to mine in the caves without dying a few times. and another thing is that if you have no torch the rats become invincible even if you turn the brightness of your laptop or phone(the phone's brightness is quite strong so maybe you will be able to see the rats-i use laptop).
